Sadly they seem to allow anyone on here despite their history of abuse. It seems that as long as you can convince somebody with a little influence that your ok now, you can even be fast tracked to Full partner no matter how that disrespects people who have NEVER broken a rule & worked hard to make it. Some people it seems deserve 2+more chances while others deserve none. THAT is the reason why YT has changed. No integrity any more & that’s just sad. Others have already left & i’m considering it.

I was just apparently flagged for “Copyright,” and asked to prove I owned the rights to my content…Well, I have NO music, NO graphics or art work or literature, etc. I wrote the script and yet I must prove I own the copyright? You are wrong, letting people “Flag you all day” IS a problem. YouTube takes a long time to respond to those of us who are not full partners, if at all. Furthermore, I feel that when someone flags a video the channel owner should know who. Flags are used to abuse.
Funny, there is an atheist channel using U2′s music on a monetized video. Since Bono is a Roman Catholic, it is unlikely he would let them use it. Only Bono has the right to flag it, as the complaint must be on your own behalf. So, this tells me that someone claimed I was violating THEIR copyrighted material. I am losing revenue, but they will face no consequences for harassing me. YouTube needs transparency and consistency.
Actually no, what happened is YouTube sent you an email asking for more documentation for owner ship of your video. This is pretty common these days. In the email half way down is a blue link. Click that link and state that you own the copyright and world wide distribution rights to the video and you should be fine.

Yes, it is something that they do now. The claim form was done away with a few months ago and now there is a check box. A small percentage are given this email.
Of course music is one thing that gets people in trouble but your videos have none of that.
